About the Cast

Jesse Reklaw (JESSE) -- Jesse Reklaw was born in 1971 in Berkeley, California, where his hippie parents sold bread from a cart on Telegraph Avenue. He studied painting and digital art at UC Santa Cruz, and has a master's degree in computer science from Yale University. Since 1995 he has been drawing and self-syndicating the weekly comic strip “Slow Wave,” which is currently printed by a dozen newspapers around the country. The first collection of “Slow Wave” strips, entitled Dreamtoons, was published by Shambhala in 2000. Jesse's other comics have appeared in a variety of anthologies and self-published mini-comics.

Fausto Caceres (Fausto) -- Former underground operator of Shirley and Spinoza Internet radio, Fausto now resides in Western China where he teaches and archives indigenous music.

Atosa Babaoff (ATOSA) -- Atosa is an actress, writer and yoga teacher and has performed in numerous plays and films in San Francisco, as well as theater in New York and a bit of T.V. (Law and Order: Criminal Intent). She has an MFA in acting from the American Conservatory Theater.

Josh Millican (JOSH) – Josh Millican has appeared in all of yahn soon’s previous productions, most recently as “Jones” in Scared New World . In addition to acting, Josh is a poet, writer and musician. His current band, Temple of Roots, gigs regularly throughout the Bay Area mixing elements of reggae and hip hop.

Jill Pixley (JILL HARTWELL) -- Jill’s film credits include Making Metamorphosis (2001 MVFF), Daughters (1997 MVFF ) and Rick Schmidts' Maisy's Garden. New York and regional theatre credits include The Crucible, Blue Window, Sure Thing and Italian American Reconciliation. Born in Denver, Jill received her BA in Drama from Stanford University and graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York.
